Berkshire Engineering Supplies ltd (BES) have recently installed their first 30tph asphalt mixing plant in the UK, for R.W Prince ltd, based in Podimore, Somerset. BES will also be installing a larger 80tph plant later this year, for Newlay Asphalt Limited, who are based in Dewsbury, West Yorkshire.
R.W Price Ltd are a recognised and well established family run business providing a range of services, which include: Road Planing, Road sweeping, tipper hire, mobile crushing and screening and the supply of recycled materials, as well as the newly introduced supply of Hot asphalt Mixtures. Richard Prince of R.W Prince limited has been closely associated with the road building industry for many years and recognised the need for a localised asphalt producer a number of years ago and has been searching for a cost affective solution ever since. Unfortunately the costs associated with installing and operating traditional asphalt production equipment, has always been the deciding factor when considering the possibility of becoming an asphalt producer in the past, However The BES range of asphalt mixing equipment has now provided Richard Prince with the solution he has been actively searching for, for many years.
The compact low level design of the BES asphalt mixing plants, ensured that RW Prince were able to locate the plant in a space that would maximise their sites operational capacity, without affecting the output of the newly installed asphalt plant.
